They've hired a SMI to head up the Roads Department: the guy can't tell concrete from asphalt -- hell, he doesn't even drive.

The most amazing man you will ever meet. He can make you laugh just by being in the same room as you. His smile will melt your heart, and his laugh will make you cry tears of joy. He is the funniest, hottest, most wonderful person you could ever know. You are lucky if you have a Jvarious Smi in your life.
Aidan: Damn, was that Jvarious Smi?
Raleigh: Yeah, he's so hot and nice.

Aidan: Sheesh.

tl/smi has its origins on the Sherdog.com message board. It is an insult for a long or irrelevant post and it translates literally to Too Long Spending Money Instead. It is not only a phrase but a way of life. The members of this group spend money endlessly; saving none. The mentality is said to have risen from an encounter with a high roller at a Las Vegas airport. Those stories cannot be confirmed. Members are also know to post large money stacks with each post that says tl/smi.
