SGM
First launched in 1954, SGM is the Indonesian brand of growing-up milk notable for being locally produced, allowing to enjoy low prices* facilitated by being subsidized by Indonesian government. Henceforth, SGM is now an Indonesian backronym standing for "Susu Generasi Miskin / Susu Generasi Melarat" (meaning "Skint Generation's Milk"). This backronym criticizes the expensive prices of many other growing-up milk, brands which leave children not to have much money reserve beyond childhood — no matter how important growing-up milk is for children's growth period.

I switched to SGM for my kids because it's affordable and actually made in Indonesia, unlike those overpriced imported brands that feel like a scam. It’s a real lifesaver for families with tight budgets!
