The act of a Fancy man running his hand over raw salmon in order to prepare it for additional action, usually involving application to a GIF, video, or meme image, for online media entertainment purposes. This process may also be expressed as "salmoning", or saying that one will "salmon something" by adding footage of the Fancy hand rubbing raw salmon to GIFs, videos, and/or meme images.

Today on discord, I noticed rubbing salmon in the background of a Mr. Robot meme.
