Acronym - Read the Motherfucking Guild Message of the Day. Used in online gaming, especially World of Warcraft. Used by people who are asked questions that are clearly answered in the Guild Message of the Day.

Player 1: "What time are MC invites?", Player 2: "RTMFGMOTD"

A shortened version of "read the fucking quest text" used in mmorpg as World of warcraft. It is used when someone asks a question related to a quest and the answer could be easily obtained by reading the text associated with the quest.

RTFQ

Read the fucking quest. Used in world of warcraft when players in new zones, or in any zone ask for help with a quest when information is given already within quest dialogue.
