Rickism

When a person says a Rickism, he/she uses a figure of speech or an expression, where the essential point and meaning has been understood by the person using it, but the actual expression is said wrong because he/she never bothered to learn the actual expression- only when to use it

it originates from the series "Trailer Park Boys" where the maincharacter RICKY uses alot of these "Rickisms"

A Rickism would be:

"goddamn, it looks like an earthquake blew through here"

"by shopping there, you get two birds stoned at once"

"make like a tree, and fuck off!"

Derogatory epithet applied to folks (generally middle-aged white males) who adhere to the Old True Faith: that guitar-shredding long haired heroes (think Clapton, Page or Billy Crudup in "Almost Famous") are the true gods of music, and that the early 70's were a golden age for popular culture. Used in political arguments by those who seek to elevate the cultural impact of hip hop or mope-rock as viable alternatives, or even progress. Rockists venerate technique and craft over novelty and youth.

Those turkeys at Rolling Stone are such old rockist fossils, they don't see that 50 Cent is a true artist and Tupac more important than the Beatles

Claire RockSmith

Claire Rockelle Smith (or Claire RockSmith) is a super sweet, charming, young girl. Piper Rockelle (a great Youtube star) is her cousin, and she herself is also a great YouTube star!! I love watching her videos - she always makes me smile! :) She is also part of THE SQUAD, who's founder was her cousin, Piper. In the GIRL SQUAD, there is Symonne Harrison, Jenna Davis, Claire RockSmith, Piper Rockelle, Emily Dobson and Elliana Walmsley. I love all of the GIRL SQUAD! They are all super cute and friendly!! I can't wait to watch more of Claire and THE SQUAD's YouTube videos, and I wish the best of luck to Claire Rocksmith and Piper Rockelle!
