Type of music originating from Rexdale, Ontario, Canada.
Consisting mostly of: hardcore, punchy heavy riffs, influence of metal, and zero fucks given!
First introduced by a local band, whom are just trying to get their unique sound and style of song creation out there in the world.

"This band is really hardcore!" "They're not hardcore, they are rexcore!"

An aesthetic for those who hoard things that shine to satiate the "bird brain." Common themes within the aesthetic/lifestyle include wanting to scream off the rooftops, enjoying time with friends, and wishing to live in the woods. Oftentimes, those who follow the aesthetic are collectors of bones, crystals, trinkets, and treasures; the lovers of dusty bookshelves, jars, and old stone houses; those who find peace in forests, the sound of slow-trickling creeks, twinkling of stars at night, and the soft glow of fireflies.

The aesthetic is prevalent on Facebook, but can also be seen on Instagram or Twitter.

It can be considered a "goth goblincore"
