Get the Pulling-an-Evanmug. When you have an object or some sort of item that is very special to you and holds not only real-world value, but special value to you (like a rare trading card, etc.) And a friend or somebody you know purchases the item you have only because they don't want people to praise you for having that thing, essentially trying to 1-up the other person. This is different from purchasing something once because what the other person has looks and seems cool to you.
Guy 1: whenever I get a new MTG card, Guy 3 gets exactly whatever I get after I show him!
