Packerland

An informal name given to the entire eastern portion of Wisconsin state and surrounding areas, referring to the general region in the northern midwestern US where most football fans support the Green Bay Packers. Often referred to as "The Packers" and "The Pack", the GBP are a member of the National Football Conference (NFC) North Division.

"My flight was supposed to take off from Milwaukee hours ago, but I got snowed in and now I'm going to be stuck in Packerland until tomorrow." --A stranded non-Packer fan, or someone who just really isn't used to snow.

"Went up to Packerland to see Pack play against the Vikings, and we threw rotten tomatoes as that traitor Brett Favre." --A fan residing in, say, Illinois.

Packermaniacal

A hard core Green Bay Packers fan. A fan that is so psychologically obsessed with that team that they wear a big green and gold “G” on their sweatshirt wherever they go and at any time of the year. A fan that wears a Green Bay Packers Jersey to any and all sporting events including fishing. A Packers fan that can’t accept a loss or that the team might suck, so there is always an excuse for a loss, like time ran out or a bad referee call was made.

Look at that packermaniacal over there with the “Rodgers Jersey.” He thinks Lombardi’s still their coach. I went to the Mall of America today and saw 14 packermaniacals with their stupid big “G” sweatshirts, and it’s baseball season.

Puckerball

Puckerball is a sport which evolved in Cambodia in the late 1990's, although the exact date is not sure. Very similar to indoor soccer, puckerball is played with a small ball, which is, in fact, a sock or two, balled up, and wrapped in masking tape. The object is the same as in soccer, to score goals by shooting the ball into the other team's goal. As this is an indoor sport, you would think that there would be a major lack of room inside a house. However, almost all Cambodian houses are the same, with a huge living room as soon as you enter the front door. Usually, the goals don't need to be put out, but are already a part of the house. Most games are to 10 points, or 20 points, and some games are played according to timed periods.

Mother: Stop playing puckerball and come eat supper!
Kid 1: Hold on! We're about to win!
Kid 2: Yeah, cause you keep cheating!
