A fun way to say "Oh my God" Some people find it annoying, which makes it even more fun to use. Some people feel it's using the lords name in vain, but as you can clearly see it's spelled gawd, not god, so no, it's not taking his name in vain.

Russian singer born in 1970. She has a lot of her own work, and has been in business since 1995 or so, yet most people know her for her two songs in Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (Rise and Inner Universe). She also did some songs for other anime, but these two are the clearest cut examples.
