Libertie

Libertie is the most irresponsible but kind person. She often forgets to set an alarm or feed her cat. Libertie is not very sensitive and loves attention. She has all the boys falling for her. She likes to rollerblade and dance out in public and doesn’t care about others opinion. She can be seen crossing streets without looking at the lights. She loves ice cream.

Artistic Liberties

An exuse for the mangling of something where it no longer resembles the orignal piece that it was based on. Common in flim making and books when the author or director changes the story line, characters, setting etc. to try and draw in more viewers/readers. A derogative term in all senses.

West Side Story took artistic liberties with Romeo and Juliet, changing the characters and setting, but keeping the basic plot line. This is why no one likes West Side Story, has or hasn't heard of it.

Civil liberties are personal freedoms a government gives the individuals. Political ideologies that stress support for individual freedom are: liberalism, libertarianism, anarchism, and egoism.
