Is a word used in parts of Southeast Asia (mostly in Malaysia) to denote a person originating from the Indian subcontinent. Not recommended to use this word in Malaysia.

refers to any Indians in Malaysia. They were called "Kelings" in the olden days. The word Keling came from the sound that their bangles made which they wore around their hands.
