hypertextia

A serious mental condition characterized by excessive text-messaging on one's smart-phone (and/or obsessively imploring others nearby to let him use their cell phones for continued/additional texting if his own phone's battery runs out of juice from the user's constant voluminous correspondence).
Don't knock hypertextia too hard --- st least the person is willing to openly interact with others like all get out, which is more than can be said of many anti-social/closed-mouthed people... better to communicate too much than not enough.

Hyperthetical

(Hi-pur-th-eh-tee-cal)
The dishonest practice of creating a hypothetical situation so extreme, that any honest answer to it would make the defending party seem utterly morally dubious to force a dishonest concession rather than any actual logical consensus on the topic.
"If god told you to kill a baby would you do it? Because in the old testament in the book of Samuel; he did!!"
"That's a "Hyperthetical" God wouldn't make us do that in a post new covenant world!"
