The instance of a professional athlete faking an injury in order to force a trade.

The term originated from Al Harrington's "Back Injury" that led to him being traded from the Warriors to the Knicks for Jamal Crawford.

Can be used to describe the injury a mythical body part.

Baron Davis wasn't very happy with the Clippers, and they didn't want to trade him. When Baron pulled his harrington the Clippers quickly worked out a trade.

steve harrington is a reoccurring character on a Netflix original series, Stranger Things. In season one, he is a popular jock and Hawkins High School and is dating Nancy Wheeler. Steve is 5'11" but with hair he is 6'3". In season two he turns into a devoted mother of four; Max, Lucas, Dustin, and Mike. He helped fight off the demogorgon dogs and protected his children as well. He isn't the brightest student at Hawkins but he is very caring.

Person 1: Do you wanna do something tomorrow?
Person 2: I can't, I'm babysitting my neighbors.

Driving close up behind an emergency vehicle to get through traffic. A technique used in Die Hard 3: With a Vengeance. Extra points if you called in the emergency yourself.

Traffic was a nightmare last night so I called an ambulance and was Die-Harding for 15 blocks. Saved me 45 minutes.
