One who has half-ass attitude towards things, usually due to lack of interest.

I do not understand the halfassitude shown by my younger brother, especially when doing things not for himself.

Half-Assed

When you do something but don't give it your all, always resulting in whatever your doing turning out poorly or incorrectly. Doing things Half-Assed is more than just an act, it's a way of life for most Americans.

Mr.Schoene: Your a smart kid, I don't understand how you're failing so many classes. Jenny: It's because he does a Half-Assed job at everthing he does. Edgar: Well sorry if you don't like my way of life, after all , Half-Assed is the way i was raised.

Those Americans did such a half-assed job on the previous example of the "half-assed" definition.

The quality of being able to start many projects without ever fully completing them. This can apply to one or more people, and is often times habitual.

"Dude, when are they gunna fix the hot tub at your apartment?"

Halfassidness

1.) The quality of being half-assed; the resultant perception of an individual--or group of individuals--being slothful, ignorant or apathetic.

2.) The essence of a result or solution that has been completed to a less than acceptable level of quality. Mediocrity.

Thanks to the halfassidness of the staff at Best Buy, I decided to buy my new TV elsewhere.

halfasstination

(v.) - A portmanteau of procrastination and half-ass. Describes a situation in which one does not wish to complete an important assignment, but also realizes that work must be done. Generally involves surfing the internet while periodically doing small, unimportant things to attempt to complete the project.

I'm halfasstinating on my English essay. Facebook is much more interesting than exploring religious implication of nihilism, but I don't want to pull an all-nighter to finish it, thus the halfasstination.
