Worse than being basic, the knock off version of basic. Too be soo basic you can't even be basic anymore you become generic.

Ex 1: Remember basic becky, her sh*t is old that she has become generic.

Ex2: person 1: omg she is so BASIC! Person 2: oh please that would be a compliment to her, she is straight up Generic...

What most of America, particularly Middle America, has become characterized by the ubiquitous Wal-Mart, TGI Fridays, Applebees, Chili's, Gap, J Crew, Best Buy, Target, Olive Garden, PetCo, McDonalds, Banana Republic, Border's, Costco, Home Depot, Nordstrom, Circuit City, KFC, Sports Authority, Starbucks.. and on and on it goes.... until every city/town/suburb starts to blend in and look like one big flavorless mall... where all the people, genericans, mindless zombies, consume and consume and consume.... slaves to corporations and keeping up with the Jones'

As I travelled across the States it was all Generica and I couldn't tell whether I was in Columbus, Ohio or Milwaukee Wisconsin. You know what? It doesn't matter to most as long as they can still get their non-fat Iced Caramel Frappucino...

A person who accuses someone of doing something immoral while doing the same thing him or herself; as in, Newt Gingrich accusing Bill Clinton of immorality while he was boinking his mistress. AKA: GIGANTIC hypocrite.

My boss called me to make sure I wasn't goofing off - but he was calling from the golf course - what a Gingrich!

Ex: I was reminded that I live in 'Generica' when I encountered the 5th Gap store on a 10 minute drive.

A fart made by someone in an otherwise empty elevator that lingers after people get on. Named in honor of Newt Gingrich who always seems to linger where he is not wanted.
