A dental professional, most likely a dentist or dental student, who is so obssessed with teeth and the mouth that they think or talk about little else, becoming essentially "dentally retarded." This happend especially when grouped with other dentards. Spouses of dentards are the most likely to be affected by dentard behavior, unable to control the track of a conversation or party from becoming focused on teeth or the dental office.

Friend/Spouse: So, what do you want to do later?
Dentard: Did you know that you have spinach between eight and nine?
F/S: Oh, thanks... ummm, did you see hear that we can still get tickets to that concert?
