Depeche Mode

The best New Wave band ever. They are from Basildon, England.

David Gahan, Lead Vocalist
Martin Gore, Primary Songwriter, Vocals, Guitars, Keyboards.
Andrew Fletcher, Management, Occasional Keyboards
Alan Wilder, Producer, Keyboards, Drums, Vocals

They formed in 1981, as a Underground New Wave Group, they rose to fame when they released 2 singles in 1984(People Are People, Master And Servant) and were aquired by Sire Records shortly after. In 1991 they were voted most popular on MTV's Most Wanted Bands of the 80's. Depeche Mode started having trouble when Alan Wilder left in 1995, they released 5 singles from 1997 to 1998 then getting dropped by Sire Records. In 2001, they would be picked up by Reprise/Mute Records and would begin creating music again. It is rumored that Playing the Angel will be their second to last record.

An obese military members wife. AKA, BMW (Big Military Wife)
The dependopotamus can often be found grazing at Burger King on any given military installation.

Why do Dependopotamuses have sex in the water? It's the only way to keep 400lbs. of p%$$* wet.

Depeche Mode

The band responsible for making goth/synth pop accessible, not by making it by any means 'accessible' but just really releasing well-crafted music that was filled with a beautiful emotion... Gore's music and Gahan's vocals are worthy of praise.

DM pioneered the dark side of synth pop to the masses.

dependapotamus

Traditionally a service-members dependent who is a "stay at home mom" that doesn't do a damn thing all day besides sitting on the couch looking remarkably similar to jabba the hut leaching off of military benefits and eating anything that gets too close.

"Dude what the hell is that on your couch?"
"Thats my wife!"
"You need to do something with that dependapotamus."

Co-dependent

Often describing someone who finds all their value as a human being in having a romantic relationship. If they are single, they feel like a total failure and therefore will put up with all kinds of possessive, unhealthy Mr/Ms. Wrongs to bolster their own self worth.

Often seen in high school sweethearts who date all the way through college and into mid-20s. Even though annoyed and bored with each other, they still refuse to break up because they can't stand being single.

Debbie said she always knew Jason wasn't 'the one', but still dated him for 7 years. She's as co-dependent as a barnacle.
