Get the Deep Purplemug. One of, if not THE greatest of all metal/hard rock bands. Always innovative and did nothing like the other bands of their time did.
Machine Head is the example of what all albums should aspire to be, although none will match.

Get the Deep Purplemug. A band formed in the Late 60s-early 70s that is one of the greatest rock bands of all time. They have one of the greatest guitarists of all time, Ritchie Blackmore, who falls second on my list behind Jimmy Page. Deep Purple's greatest songs(in my opinion) are Burn, Space Truckin', Black Knight, Demon's Eye, Child In Time, and Stormbringer. Everyone should check this band out.
