cyberstitious

A fear or suspicion that providing information, such as a password or email address, in order to access an application or website could conceivably make one vulnerable to attack by phishers, hackers or viruses.
Nigel refused to accept the application request "See Who Has Been Viewing My Profile" on Facebook because he was cyberstitious to the nth degree after having been previously phished.
