Countertenor

The highest male voice; in speaking and singing, countertenors have the normal range of a tenor, but are able, by singing in falsetto, to go higher, into the contralto/alto range, mezzo-soprano range, and, with the great ones, into the soprano range.

They are usually assigned roles written originally for the castratos, yanking those roles away from the contraltos.

Is that a female alto singing...? It sounds different... it's probably a countertenor.

Countertenor

An adult male vocalist who has pretty much an unbroken voice- (whereas, most blokes' voices break at puberty), and who, as a result of this failure to lose his "baby voice" at puberty, remains able to sing in the vocal tessituras- (ranges, to the non-singer), of the female Alto, Mezzo-soprano, and very occasionally, Soprano, without having to resort to the use of Falsetto- (false voice.)

True Countertenors are a very rare thing. Most blokes who think they're Countertenors are actually Falsettists, who sing in the Countertenor registers, using Falsetto- (false voice.)

Counterous

Counterous is a word that can be use once you'd see a person countering something that is right or correct.
its the combination between COUNTER and CANCEROUS so its called COUNTEROUS.
countering is like your disagreeing to a persons says,etc, while cancerous means your a useless person

example/definitions

(the person is disagreeing to the right thing)
GUY: when you and your family eat you need to atleast talk so you can help each other
GAY: Nope when your eating with your family you dont need to speak or to talk because its bad even your mouth is not full
GUY: How come ? its not bad because its a communication to a family
GAY: NO its still wrong because its bad for us to speak when were eating with our family

counterhol

Alcohol left on the counter by party guests at a college party house. Residents of said house will consume the counterhol at a later date, often early the next day. This is not left over drinks or wounded soldiers, but rather fifths and handles that were brought and left unfinished.

After that date and a handle party at our house, there was so much counterhol left that Joey blacked out off it before his midterm on Thursday.

Those girls each brought their own bottle! We're going to have so much counterhol tomorrow.
