Cortex Command

Cortex Command is an awesome in-development game that is a cross between a third-person 2d shooter and an RTS.
So far, the game has two main modes of play: Trying to destroy the other person's brain or surviving as many swarms or enemies as possible while protecting your brain.
The game has a thriving modding community at www.datarealms.com and can also be downloaded for free at that site.

Go play Cortex Command, then you'll have your example.

Command & Conquer 3

The sequel to C&C: Tiberian Sun, it supposedly takes place in the year 2042 where nearly all of the world is infected with Tiberium and the world is divided into 3 zones, the blue zone, which covers about 20 or 30% of the world where the GDI are and the Western world remains and in the blue zone there is very few tiberium infections and tiberium hasn't plagued the blue zones...yet. Blue zones are located in the cold climates of the Earth where tiberium doesn't grow well. Yellow Zones make up the majority of the world, Yellow zones have moderate tiberium contamination and there are still unfortunate people who live in the yellow zones as well as Nod forces. Red Zones make up about 20% of the Earth and contains very dense Tiberium contamination and has been rendered almost completely uninhabitable to humans, humans who live in the red zones will most likely mutate into shiners (tiberium mutants who make up a faction called "The Forgotten") Also, there is talk of a 3rd faction in C&C 3 (Just as you had Ordos in Dune, Yuri in Red Alert and the GLA in Generals) I hope there is going to be a third faction, but there is a debate going on on what the third faction will be (The Forgotten, the Scrin or some new race, it's most likely going to be the Scrin aliens) It is said that C&C 3 will be released in 2007

Command & Conquer 3 better be as good and impacting or better than C&C: Tiberian sun, because we had to wait 8 damn years for the sequel!!!!!!!

command decision

Military term;
the act of arriving at a decision and acting upon it without the direction of, or orders from a higher authority. i.e. an independant course of action without the sanction of a superior.

"Corporal, who told you to toss that live round over the side? Don't you realize that this is a waste of government property and you could be charged under a violation of section 118 of the articles of war?"

"Yes sir, I felt I had three options: knowing that a round which falls on the deck is considered to be a hot round and therefore unsafe; I could have left it to roll around the deck and detonate in its own time, or I could retreive it and place it in the hopper to be fired off, thus risking the lives of the three guncrew if it detonated while still in the hopper; or I could elect to throw it overboard."

Please say a command

The ever so annoying and pointless feature on an LG phone that is almost destined to go off anywhere there is a group of people (during class, gatherings). Apparently it is telling you to speak a person's name so you can call them without pressing any buttons, but I don't think I have ever seen anyone use this feature.

Woman's voice: "Please say a command" *BEEP*

Command & Conquer

Command & Conquer(sometimes written "Command and Conquer") is a large series of games created by the now-defunct Westwood Studios, the same people who brought you the video game incarnations of Dune and Blade Runner. Command & Conquer is one of the most critically acclaimed real-time strategy games, spawning several a few sequels, prequels, a handful of add-on packs, and various ports to 32-bit and 64-bit video game consoles. You play the part of either the Global Defense Inititive(GDI) or theBrotherhood of Nod(Nod) in your mission of taking control of the world through force. You build your bases and rally your forces, then promptly obliterate the opposing side as brutally as you can, leaving no survivors. It's basically a futuristic war game, in the most rudimentary definition.

command block

A command block is a block that can execute commands. Because it cannot be obtained in Survival mode without cheats, it is primarily used on multiplayer servers and in custom maps.

Command blocks are not available in the Creative inventory. It can either be obtained by using the pick block control, or by using various commands, such as /give @s minecraft:command_block, or /setblock ~ ~ ~ minecraft:command_block.

Command blocks also cannot be broken in Survival mode without operator permissions, are not flammable, cannot be moved by pistons, and have the same blast resistance as bedrock.

To enter a command in a command block, use the Use Item control on the command block to open the command block graphical user interface. The GUI opens only if the player is in Creative mode and has the proper permissions. In singleplayer, cheats must be enabled to edit them; in multiplayer, they can be edited only by operators in Creative.

Command blocks are redstone mechanisms and can be activated by:
- An adjacent active power component: e.g., a redstone torch, block of redstone, daylight sensor, button etc.
- An adjacent powered block (for example, an opaque block with an active redstone torch under it)
- A powered redstone comparator or redstone repeater facing the mechanism component
- Powered redstone dust pointing at the command block (or on top of it) or directionless.

When activated, a command block tries to execute its command.

If you mostly play survival mode, and you're thinking "that sounds a lot like cheating", then you're right – which is why command blocks aren’t available in survival mode. They're a feature that we built specifically for creative mode, and for adventure mode mapmakers. Jeb announced their existence in a tweet in July 2012, and they were added to the game in version 1.4.2 – the Pretty Scary Update, which also added spooky anvils, creepy flowerpots and terrifying carrots on sticks.
