When the description or blurb of a book is too vague and confuses you rather than entices you, it is a blurbfuscation. Similar to obfuscation. Blurbfuscation is an indication of poor writing skills and a sign that the book may be equally as unprofessional.

An acronym for Big Lipped Ugly Mother Fucker, and a slang used by white surfer types from the Playa Del Rey/ Westchester, CA area in the late 1970's to describe a person of African descent with out angering them into a tribal uprising.
