The study of culturally induced ignorance or doubt.

A basic characteristic of the conservative movement, as conservative beliefs regarding race, class, and foreign policy are all shown to be failures.

"Dude, all the scientists who are believe in (sic) global warming are part of a universal conspiracy to gain research dollars by destroying American industry."

"Don't you think it's a little more likely that the anti-AGW folks, who are all paid by the oil companies, are kind of like the tobacco industry scientists?"

"No way, man, Glenn Beck made it clear on his show the other day."

"Oh? What did he say? I need to keep up on my agnotology."

A neologism that has the opposite meaning of another neologism.

'Futronym' is an antologym for 'retronym'. An antologym is the same as an antonym, except that it applies to neologisms instead of words already in the lexicon.
