Defensive Attendance

Attending a meeting where you are optional or not invited at all just to make sure you can deflect any work assignments that come out of it. Wasting an hour to save hours.

I don't have any questions for the speaker. Mine was merely defensive attendance.

Aiden Attendance

Da name of a super-caring dude who is permitted to ride along for free (i.e., "companion fare") on a bus or plane because he provides cheerful assistance for a physically/mentally-challenged individual who is also taking said public-transportation service.

If two handicapped people travel together and they each provide necessary assistance to the other (i.e., perhaps one can hear better, and the other has clearer eyesight), could they BOTH ride for free by each of them's claiming to be nicknamed "Aiden Attendance"?

Character Attendant

A job at Disney where you make sure the characters stay alive. They are in charge of maintaining their line by yelling at everyone to have out their autograph books and photopass cards, only for the guest to get to the character and not be prepared at all. They describe what the character is animating and say things like "Yes! You are on their shirt!" And "Wow it is their birthday!" 100 times a day. They move the guests bags, because of course they put them in the wrong spot, then get phones shoved in their faces with out ever hearing the words, "Will you please take a photo for me?" and still take the photo. They also make sure said character gets off on time which leads to them timing the line, closing the line on time, and most importantly, ruining thousands of vacations.

That character attendant ruined my vacation.

to suddenly remember something from your past, a memory or a conversation that was assumed it was erased from your mind completely. experiencing the memory with such vividness, you feel a soft feeling of wanting to go back, to experience the memory once more.

"suhh dude, this antenance is makin me thirsty for some Looney Toons"

to think, antenances would be the solution to alzheimer's, if only old people would suck it up lmao
