A music genre made in the Netherlands in 1993. It's a subgenre from hardcore/gabber and it has some influences of DNB and Breakcore. It was mainly made by Ruffneck Records. It died down in around 2000 but it is still made nowadays, even by the founder: Patrick van Kerckhoven (Ruffneck, Knightvision, Juggernaut, Wedlock, Undercover Anarchist, Diss Reaction etc.).

It also became synonymus with the transition of the early 90's acid house and northern U.K oldschool breakbeat scene, as it transformed into Jungle or Drum & bass.
