academic validation

feeling achieved or appreciated when receiving praise in school. while it can be a good motivator, constantly seeking academic validation can become a problem mentally. this can lead to purposefully overworking yourself to feel that adrenaline rush that comes with good marks.

Mom: Why are your grades so bad?
Me: Because I seek academic validation to the point where if I can't do it perfectly the first time then there's no use in trying at all.

Better known as RKA 141, Ratchet Kid Academy, or Retarded Kid Academy by some. Consists of countless treeshes, fuckboys, thots, more treeshes, staircases for weed smoking and dick sucking, juul rooms (what even is a bathroom sksjsj). Everyone wants to be hood and act like they’re about it when they literally live in Pussy ass Riverdale. The auditorium hasn’t been renovated in years, and everyone knows where the money to fix it really goes 👀👀.

“Why does that group of kids over there act like they wanna be hardcore or some shit?”
“They’re from Riverdale Kingsbridge Academy.”

Academic Circle Jerk

When a group’s discussion of concepts and ideas start to overwhelm the thought process that you ultimately end up just standing around stroking the other people's egos and accomplishing nothing.

We discussed rubrics, a list of criteria for grading student’s work, until we discussed ourselves into an academic circle jerk.
