Used in the Midlands. The act of bellowing at someone "down the street", especially from a window. Also used for communication within households that avoid personal contact. Often volume obscures pronunciation.

Yarmping

Quite simply, to camp in your yard...

(1) We totally got busted by the neighbors when we tried to have sex when we were yarmping.

(2) Man, let's pretend we're homeless and go yarmping.

Side note: National Yarmping Day is celebrated by lazy/injured nature enthusiasts everywhere in the spirit of the thought of roughing it on the 4th sat night of the month if it's a month with 5 weekends.
