A portmanteau of the words "pope" and "woke" used to describe a pope (head of the Catholic Church) who expresses left-leaning ideologies such as supporting the working class, minorities, or LGBTQ rights.
I can't believe the pope would be so supportive of gay marriage! We should start calling him the wope from now on because of how woke he is!
