A fandom term, commonly used by fan fiction authors (particularly in the Stargate genre) to describe physical and/or mental abuse laid on a character in a story.

She was known to be a shameless Daniel-whumper in her fanfics, inflicting every possible form of torture on the character, from hangnails to decapitation.

(Noun)-- A physical reaction a person viewing a scene with whump might get. Can range between butterflies/flips in the stomach, giddiness, excitement, nervousness, a rush of energy/adrenaline, tingles, and more.

A Whumpee is a character that is being or has been tortured, abused, and/or hurt by a Whumper (The person/character causing the harm)

Whump

When a character in a movie, show, book, or fanfic is caused physical and mental trauma which usually continues with the character being taken care of. The characters that take place in this would be the whumpee (the character being hurt/comforted), the whumper (the character that hurts the other ore name of the people in the community), and the caretaker (the character that helps the whumpee back to a better health). The community that surrounds this is a very friendly and open community that supports new whumpers,

“The whump in that movie was delicious!”

“I heard that there’s a lot of whump in this show”

This is a slang term in Fanfiction it refers to excessive physical damage. I have really only found it in supernautral fanfiction and psych fanfiction.
