A word that is horribly misused. YouTube comments tend to use this term a lot without actually knowing what it means. It means unrecognised or not valued highly enough not free internet points for something you like.

Underrated Sigma

A successful, but highly independent person, typically a male, who goes largely unrecognized for their accomplishments.

One step above an alpha male.

Call me crazy, but Grady is an underrated sigma, he does so well in his classes and with the ladies, but gets almost no recognition for it.
