A series of films created by Edgar Wright and Simon Pegg, starring Pegg and Nick Frost in the lead roles. Each film takes a specific film genre and makes and effort to Pilgrimize it. The first two installments, "Shaun of the Dead" and "Hot Fuzz," Pilgrimize zombie movies and buddy cop/action movies, respectively. The currently in-production third film, "The World's End" is supposed to apply the Pilgrimization technique to sci-fi films.
The name is derived from the fact the each film, in addition to featuring copious amounts of blood, features of different flavour of Cornetto ice cream. Red Strawberry for "Shaun of the Dead," Blue Classico for "Hot Fuzz," and Mint-Green Chocolate Chip for the upcoming "The World's End" (tennative).

Get the Draco Trillogy mug.A legandary trilogy of films is "shaun of the dead", "Hot fuzz" and "The worlds end" in each film Stars the same two characters Simon Pegg and Nick Frost, and occasionaly some other characters that have been in one the cornetto trilogy film and appear in the others, each film has a different theme and genre, for example "shaun of the dead": a zombie appocalypse, "hot fuzz": a bunch of failure policemen, apprart form one (simon pegg) who doesn't know how to switch off, and "the worlds end" a bunch of succsesful men appart form one (simon pegg) who doesn't know how to grow up, all go on a pub crawl around their old childhood town "newton haven". In each trilogy there is always some sort of tragedy or happening going on through the films I reccomend you see all the films back to back, in each film you will hear many quotes that are used quite often through out the trilogy's, most people I know have seen the movies and use the quotes too and we most deffinatly use them in my house hold!

Get the Cornetto Trilogy mug.Those three movies that the majority of Star Wars fanboys are always whining about, most likely because of them them being very different from the original trilogy. The fact that both the prequel trilogy and the original trilogy contain some of the same flaws is usually ignored, as well as anything that the prequel trilogy did well.
Guy 1: "Ugh, the Star Wars prequel trilogy make me sick. Anakin and Padme have no chemistry, and all the characters that were supposed to be cool were not developed at all. And what's with CGI Yoda? It's just a mess. Nothing good came from these movies at all."
Guy 2: "Uh, Anakin and Padme have about as much chemistry as Han and Leia, Boba Fett has always been a fan favorite despite having almost no character development whatsoever in the original trilogy. And tell me, how else would they actually show Yoda demonstrating that he's supposed to be a Jedi Master if he was still a puppet? And please don't try and say that the prequels did nothing well at all, the Clone Wars story was quite interesting, we actually got to see what the Jedi were like before they were almost entirely wiped out, and so much was added to the series that we haven't seen before. Such as various characters, races, technology, planets, etc. Just to name a few things."
