Torrance Beach

Torrance's 1.5 miles of coastline, between the pv peninsula and redondo beach. It's a great surf spot! It's also laid back and peaceful, away from noisy bars and restaurants, has great views of pv, and cleaner than the other south bay beaches.

Johnny: Hey dude, wanna go surfing today?
Jake: Yea man, let's go to Torrance Beach.
Johnny: Torrance has a beach?
Jake: No shit dummy, it's the best in the south bay!

One who frequently downloads files using the Bit Torrent protocol. A "torrenteer" typically belongs to several torrent sites and is generally good about seeding back what they take.

Torrent Whore

(Simple):

A Torrent Whore is a BitTorrent user , who is too lazy to upload his own content, so they opt to download a torrent from another user, and use those contents to create another torrent upload in their user name.

Definition (Extended):

Instead of creating their own rips, Torrent Whores merely download other people stuff, rename it and post it again as their own. It is sad, since it generates a lot of unneeded duplicates, instead of allowing larger swarms to develop around a single posting.

They are never going to give credit where it is due, since the folks who do this are trying to make themselves into bigshot uploaders without bothering to put in any real effort.

Toryn

My favorite person ever. Hes a guy, hes pretty, smart, and he can be a mess. He has things going on with himself and tends to look down on himself but to me hes perfect. He's very unbothered by people who mean nothing to him. Hes smart school wise but out side of that hes the dumbest person ever. I love him :) just the way he is. If you ever meet a 'Toryn', keep them around, They'll be the best person you ever met. AND PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, take your time with them.

torrent

a file that is constantly moving accross a large network. in order to download the file, the downloading file segments must at the same time be uploaded to other users requesting the file. torrents are tagged with a unique ID so that any particular torrent can be located from anywhere on the network with the correct software.

I need to search the torrents for some practice testing software before I go to take my CompTIA A+ Certification exam.
