SHRIV

Pronounced just as it sounds, the slang word “Shriv” is derived from the word “shriveled”, which isn’t an American word, rather, perhaps from a Scandinavian source (compare Swedish skryvla "to wrinkle, to shrivel, to shrink”)

“Shriv” is a word which describes one’s state of mind/state of being. It means to be cold. As in, unprepared. Not ready. Shriv is the opposite of being ready. Instead of saying “I’m going in HOT” the word “SHRIV” replaces the word “HOT”.

Shriv is a word to describe a person who is dishonorable or vile in their actions. They are typically male but can be female when no other word will get your message across

“Did you hear that Johnny kicked a disabled guy after throwing on the floor?”
