The Butterfly Project

1. When you feel like you want to cut, take a marker, pen, or sharpies and draw a butterfly on your arm or hand.

2. Name the butterfly after a loved one, or someone that really wants you to get better.

3. You must let the butterfly fade naturally. NO scrubbing it off.

4. If you cut before the butterfly is gone, you’ve killed it. If you dont cut, it lives.

5. If you have more than one butterfly, cutting kills all of them.

6. Another person may draw them on you. These butterflies are extra special. Take good care of them.

7. Even if you don’t cut, feel free to draw a butterfly anyways, to show your support. If you do this, name it after someone you know that cuts or is suffering right now, and tell them. It could help.
Have you heard of The Butterfly Project? I heard it helped (Friend) stop cutting. Maybe I should try it.

The Lines Project

Founded in 2013 by an unknown person on the internet "The Lines Project" is for the people who has self-harmed or the people who support it. There are a few rules regarding this project, which I will get into after the steps of being apart of The Lines Project. You will need to draw 6 lines with Sharpie on your wrist (Different colours or the same) starting on December 15th - December 20th. The rules are simply- if you self-harm, are depressed, feeling down, then you will do this on your L E F T wrist. If you are supporting this cause, do it on your R I G H T wrist.

The lines stand for the millions of lives lost because of suicide. To spread this project around, go to your social network or send a picture to your friend using #thelinesproject or go to your school principle or council and ask to spread around.

the line project

The line project is a project helping In identifying suicial and depressed people. On July 5th-10th we will wear lines on our L E F T. W R I S T. Red meaning you struggle with self harm. Blue meaning you have or have had depression. Orange meaning you have any sort of anxiety. Green means you are bullied or have been bullied. Pink on your L E F T Wrist along the other colors means that you support. Pink on your R I G H T wrist means that you are recovered or recovering, Black means you have tried to commit suicide or have thought about committing suicide. If you see someone with a coma on their arm this means they think this is where their life ends but it could go on. If you see someone with a x-ed out infinitely sign on their arm it means that person doesn't want to live for ever.

The Shoebox Project

The greatest, in many rabidly obsessed people's opinions, "Marauders' Era" (circa 1970 Hogwarts) Harry Potter fanfiction EVER. Written by Lady Jaida and Dorkorific and hosted on LiveJournal, it has become widely popular and there are heaps of readers who believe that it is canon—J.K. Rowling who? It is meant to be Remus/Sirius slash but remains nearly gen for at least the first nineteen parts.
"MERLIN'S BEARD," I shrieked into my unfortunate friend's ear, "SHOEBOX HAS BEEN UPDATED!"
She sniffed disdainfully and made an off-handed comment about how Remus/Sirius slash is wrong and her personal OC, an author avatar by the name of Mary-Sue—I mean, Crimson Midnight Slytherin, fits much better with both Remus and Sirius. And James, and Lucius, but not Tom Riddle because they're related and that would be "icky."
I smacked her with a pillow, initiating a catfight much like those between Narcissa Black and Carmina Rosier.
