It was intended so that the virus can rehibalitat any dead tissue. It was known that the human mind would almost be useless yet some memory but basically the human subject would only need one major thing to live. THE NEED TO FEEd. Due to its dead tissue the body needs more red cells thus making the actual human subject attack any living thing that is not infected.which in the case will cause major destruction to the world. There is know starvation so they can't die out and they can smell even the littlest of fresh blood
The virus can spread with in 1 hour to even a couple of seconds if injected directly.The result will cause a dramatic error on the human cycle itself.

In the video game BioHazard or Resident Evil, the T-Virus, or Tyrant-Virus, was the first and primary mutagen virus developed by the Umbrella Corporation. The T-Virus was responsible for the creation of the majority of their Bio-Organic Weapons or BOWs. However, its intended purpose was to create the perfect BOW: the Tyrant.

The corporation saw limitless potential in the virus due to its nearly 90% death rate. Umbrella was very careful about its research. The Biological Weapons Convention prohibited the research and development of such things. So to get around this obstacle, Umbrella masqueraded their research, saying they were trying to find a cure for it.
However, their research was halted. The Ebola virus proved to be unable to survive outside a human host except for only a few days due to its extreme sensitivity to ultraviolet radiation. It also killed its host too quickly, which limited the chances of the person infecting others. Lastly, the Ebola could only infect with direct contact with others, even furthering limiting the chances of infection.
Umbrella researchers asked themselves: What if a heavily infected host could continue to still be mobile, and what if the host could continue to infect others, as well? This idea would give birth to the T-Virus.
After the development of the Progenitor virus, three men would finally succeed in the creation of the T-Virus on December 4th, 1978 after combining it with leech DNA. These men were Dr. James Marcus, Captain Albert Wesker, and Dr. William Birkin.
The T-Virus would serve as the basis of most of the other viruses developed by the Umbrella Corporation, such as the T-Veronica Virus and the NE-T Virus.

This leaves only the telencephalon, better known as the cerebrum, to govern behavior. This leaves the infected host with a very animalistic behavior. As the virus spreads, it damages the hypothalamus. This produces a massive flood of neurotransmitters, enzymes, and hormones such as norepinephrine and dopamine. A virus created by Umbrella Corp, a pharmaceutical company that used it as a bio weapon. The T virus is not a virus, rather a strain of virus. It was heavily “upgraded” to make more resistant hosts.
The T virus infects a human in one of these few ways:
1) bitten by an infected host
2) getting stabbed, scratched, cut, sliced,etc.
3) some doctor decides to inject you with it
The T-virus outbreak started in raccoon city in their sewage treatment plant where infected rats infected the rural citizens which spread to a massive outbreak.
1 in a million people had a chance of turning into a “tyrant”. A tyrant was a big and strong version of the normal zombie. There are many types of zombies, the common ones include:
1)lickers: disgusting creatures that don’t have skin and an unusually long tongue
2)hunters: usually mistaken for a zombie but more animal-ish. The hunters were used to hunt survivors with immunity to the T-virus or a capable host to turn into a tyrant.
3)crimson heads: these zombies have a rather crimson skin tone due to their heart pumping blood extremely fast.
Zombies variations were not always human, there are some “dog-zombies”.
