Merging science with the behavior and tactics of a socialite.

Example of use in conversation:

A: "Wow you are a true scien-socialite!"

Socialmite

A socialmite is someone who occupies the cusp of the inner circle, whatever inner circle that may be. They are not quite a member, but not an outside either. The cause of this phenomenon has not yet been determined, but more can be seen at socialmite.blogspot.com.

Paris Hilton is a socialite, but her cousin is a socialmite.
