Kmart sliders

During the 1980s, poorly made athletic shoes sold at Kmart, usually under the brand names of athletix, trax, or dynamax. The nickname sliders was derived from observing the less-fortunate kids who wore them in gym class, sliding all over the floor due to the poor quality of the soles.

Rodney missed school today because he slid into the bleachers and hit his head while playing floor hockey in gym class, likely as a result of wearing Kmart sliders.

A term coined by west coast Hip-Hop artist Anilyst. His song Triple Threat, which recieved over 7 million hits on youtube, is the first song to demonstrate "Syllable Sliding"…he describes it as "a form of rap that is more elaborate than the average way of rhyming….it’s the ability to rhyme each and every syllable in a bar with the other syllables in the next bar while still having it make sense and be clear, and while projecting subliminal messages and endless metaphors. This is Syllable Sliding.” He even rightfully named his first album "Syllable Sliding Vol. 1".

Yeah, you're a pretty good rapper, but let's see how good you are at syllable sliding.

slip/slide a cig/twig

Sliding/slipping the twig/cig is the act of inserting an e-cig, specifically a Juul, into one’s oral cavity. Instead of “hitting” or “rippin” a Juul, the phrase is “sliding/slipping a cig/twig”.

To slide a cig is one thing, but to slip a twig is another.

To slip/slide a cig/twig is the insertion of a Juul into one’s mouth.
