Atlas Shrugged

Ayn Rand's fourth and most expansive novel. The theme of Atlas Shrugged is that independent thinking, and the creativity and inventiveness that comes from this, is the motor that runs the world. In Atlas Shrugged, Rand argues that if the "men of the mind" went on strike, the motor of the world would shut down and civilization would fall apart. This book is an important acheivement for Rand, because it is the most comprehensive basis for her philosophy Objectivism which champions individual rights and the only political system that protects them Capitalism.

shruggles

A variation of the word "shrug," connected to the word "muggle" (which means commoner), denoting indifference, surrender, and acceptance of defeat to what the user perceives as an everyday occurrence. The "cutesy" nature of the word further underscores the user's indifference, as does the plural suffix.

"I failed another organic chemistry exam today. Shruggles. Good thing I decided I don't want to be a doctor anymore. I want to be a lawyer."

1. All around wacky person. Absolutely horrible at Fortnite. Will beg in a high pitched voice for the best weapons and immediately die from hiding in a bush. The kind of player that uses a chug jug when he's at 100 hp and 50 shield. Enjoys long walks on the beach and laughing at his own jokes. Often wears the sweatshirts from 7th grade bar mitzvahs. Will soon be getting a scholarship to CLC to pursue his lacrosse career.

2. Looks like an ostrich.

In Fortnite Battle Royale, some may say, "Don't pull a shrugged rat" when they do something bad or die.
