She is the beloved moon , in sinhala literature moon is described as sanduni my beloved moon in the sense. Opposite of hiruni which is "beloved Sun". Sanduni is the child who spread the sweetest , nice fragrance of love and kindness to the world. Fragrance of sandalwood, which is sudu hadun (sandun) in ancient ayurveda.
