Get the Detroit Rock City mug."Hadley Rock City" is a nickname given to Hadley, Massachusetts in the late 2010s. The name is a play on the song "Detroit Rock City" by Kiss. It was initially meant to be sarcastic, considering Hadley is neither a city nor widely recognized for it's rock scene. However, some feel that the name is appropriate due to Hadley's dominance of the underground indie scene in Western Massachusetts.
