An expression used in response to someone who accidentally or purposely trips you up at the worst possible time. Usually occurs during moments of intense concentration or during a special moment. Based on the President Obama Inaugural Oath when Chief Justice John Roberts incorrectly stated the words “that I will execute the Office of President to the United States faithfully”; thereby causing President Obama to pause and disrupting Obama's special moment. "Dread Pirate Roberts" Syndrome

The everyday act of telling someone you can only have sex with them this one time only to come back the following day for more sex. Taken from the great movie "The Princess Bride" in which the Dread Pirate Roberts tells Westley (Cary Elwes) that he'll most likely kill him in the morning only to spare him every time.
