This can be used to describe a person, event or group.

prewalking

To position oneself on a subway platform such that, when the passenger steps off the train at his destination, he'll be as close as possible to the exit or stairs to his transfer. Used and done often in the nyc subway system.

Sorry, I can't talk with you while we wait for the train. I've got to prewalk to the end of the platform.

I save time prewalking.

preding

The act of walking around a night club or other social setting and scanning the room for the opposite sex to approach and begin seducing. This behavior is very obvious to others and the body language of the subject looks like that of a wild predator looking around for a viable prey.

Peaking

The time at which an ingested substance is at its highest possible concentration in the bloodstream. Used colloquially in the context of recreational drugs, most commonly psychedelics. When peaking, a psychedelic trip is usually at its most intense/powerful. The nature and duration of a peak varies by drug, user, and mindset at the time of tripping. Contrary to what some may say, it is not a term specific to any one particular drug.

Tripper A: "Dude... I..."
Tripper B: "What, man?"
Tripper A: "I'm... it's... lattitude."

Pregaming

Drinking that is done before going to an event where drinks that you will purchase are very expensive. Often occurring in vehicles and parking lots before the event while watching for the police.

I was pregaming before the Metallica concert and I don't remember anything.
