Sometimes your partner in crime can also be someone who you're in relationship with, or a person you have feelings for, or just a friend.

parentless n: the person or persons of adult age whose parents have died; usually pretaining to a death occuring at an earlier than usual age; death of parents from illness or accident leaving behind an adult child or children.

parentless adj: a way to describe an adult person whose parents have died.

n: Both my parents died in of cancer in their late 40's leaving me parentless. My brothers and sister and I are now parentless after they died in that accident.

adj: She became parentless adult after that boating incident.
