(Simplified Definition)
The rich people who used to control the populace. They were rich land owners who slowly lost power over a period of hundreds of years, especially in Europe.

The nobility have no place here in America!

Nobuo Uematsu

Nobuo Uematsu, who has been working at Square (SquareEnix) for nearly twenty years, is the composer behind the music from Final Fantasies 1 - 9. He also composed parts of the Saga series soundtrack, some of the Chrono Trigger music (though Yasunori Mitsuda did most of it), and a couple of the tracks in FFX.

He now has his own band, the Black Mages, who perform rock arrangements of Uematsu's music. Also, www.ocremix.org and various videogame remix projects have done arrangements of his work.

Nobuo Uematsu plans to retire from Squeenix this year, but he will always be widely regarded as one of the best videogame music composers.

Nobuo Uematsu is the veteran composer at Squeenix.

ross noble

An English stand-up comedian, known for his often improvised sets, based almost entirely around audience members he has conversations with. Originally from Cramlington in Northumberland, he now resides in Australia with wife Fran.

It's difficult to give examples of ross noble, because his style is incredibly physical, but some memorable quotes include:

"How come Miss Universe is only won by people from Earth?"

Oda Nobunaga

One of the greatest minds Humanity has ever known. A strategical, Militaristic genius from the Warring States Period Japan, who was once thought of as a fool as a child, eventually known as the fool of Owari.(The province his father ruled over) The heir to the Oda Clan and ruler after his father passed away, he went on to conquer one third of Japan in what started the Unification of Japan as a whole country. As one of the three Great Warlords of the time, he defeated every enemy he encountered, defeating much larger armies than his own, forcing other daimyo and shogun to step down and surrender. He was well on his way to conquering all of Japan until he was Betrayed by one of his generals, Akechi Mitsuhide(that asshole), forced to commit Seppuku at the Honnoji-in temple becoming forever known as "The Great Honnoji Incident." His legacy was carried on by his closest friend and general Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and finished by a once hostage of his Ieyasu Tokugawa having fully unified Japan under his rule for centuries. Nobunaga is still greatly celebrated today having paved the way to the single country of japan we known today. Widely known, and extremely popular hes depicted in many works of fiction and media, from books, to movies, to anime, to video games. Probably more than will smith. Often depicted as a demon,or villain as well as a hero in other works, his goal has always been to conquer both the heavens and earth as the "Dai Roku Tenma" - the 6Th Demon King of heaven.

Nobuo Uematsu

A japanese composer, who used to work as a composer of jingles at a small radio-station, fuji radio. A friend of his asked him if he'ld like to work for him, his friend was the owner of Square, creator of final fantasy. So, Nobuo made music for the First ever FF. He's also worked for nintendo, and for Oh! My goddess the movie. His greatest peices have been re-mixed many many times and kick ass. He now owns a band called the black mages with a few friends of his. He also does a loaaaaaaad of concerts, all over the world which get sold out. He is teh grand daddy of music.

Final Fantasy the black mages owns you many times over. The song, "Prelude" from FF1 still owns even though it's so old. Age dosn't matter, Nobuo's still as good as ever.

nobility

The highest social class in pre-modern societies and even in a few contemporary societies, and the status and title of a noble are usually inherited; basically another term for aristocrats, a tiny group of elite people who are omnipotent over the common people.

Nobles are born into wealth and power and often into politics, regardless of their merit to these privileges; peerage is the legal system to constitute the various hereditary titles.
From highest to lowest rank, the most common peerage titles are:
-duke and duchess
-marquis and marquise
-earl/count and countess
-viscount and viscountess
-baron and baroness

Under a feudal system, the nobility earned property from the monarch through military service.

The peasants resented the nobility for their frivolity, but at least these farmers had little to lose; the courts of the elite were swarming with ruthless intrigue, often with plots of overthrowing the royal family. Noblewomen were married off young, had little real power, and just served to manage households and produce many children (who were raised by nannies) to continue the family dynasty, never free to live or choose as they wanted.

Nobility had/have everything to lose: wealth, reputation, position, allies, public support, political influence, and life. A very public life with numerous people breathing down one's neck and threats on one's person did not help matters, either.
