Neoliberal

(nēˌō -lib(ə)rəl) 1. A Political platform which represents the illusion of liberalism. 2. A false Ideology of the super rich and fools alike; to convince low-incom Liberals to vote for a party which wont actually represent their interests. 3. Bourgeoisie propaganda.
The democratic party will probably nominate a Neoliberal Candidate in 2020 like Joe Biden. Someone who has appeal to the younger generation through the Obama- biden memes that continue to circulate the internet even though he would have no real liberal agenda, no major policy changes regarding climate change, the war on drugs or universal healthcare. (or) The democratic party is nothing but corporate, warmongering, Neoliberal shills.

r/neoliberal

basically Liberals who hate both reagan and thatcher yet choose to call themselves neoliberals just to piss off both socialists and conservatives thus maintaining quality policy discussions based on academic evidence and consensus among professionals(like scientists, urban planners, economists, doctors etc) instead of bullshit peddled by far-left and far-right. Your "common sense" and historical materialism are not substitutes for empirical evidence.

they mostly believe in the fact that regulated market economies with global free trade, free movement of capital and labor leads to massive reduction in poverty and increase in human welfare and incomes of all groups. some commies think that poverty isn't declining instead the world bank has reduced the poverty line which is again bullshit, you can see poverty rate at different poverty lines here: ourworldindata.org/no-matter-what-global-poverty-line

sometimes r/neoliberal come across as smug technocrats, not that its a bad thing. Singapore is technocracy after all.

Person 1: Why are people getting so radical nowadays? everyone thinks they have the whole world figured out and they know more than consensus of professionals who worked their whole life in their respective fields.

Person 2: yeah bro, people are getting their policy takes from BreadTube, Elon Musk, Jordan Peterson, Zizek, Karl Marx and other over-glorified idiots. You should visit r/neoliberal, we only have policy discussions with proper citations of research papers.

Person 1: wow this place is kinda nice, I too love the global poor now.

neoliberalcon

Neoliberalcon is neologism formed from mashing together neocon, the conservative masterminds behind the Project For A New American Century in the 1990s, and neoliberals, the liberal masterminds behind globalism in the 1990s. They started out on different sides, but realized they were on the same side after Donald Trump's populist campaign swept both out of influence.
"The neoliberalcons are really pissed Trump won the election," John said.
"You mean the neocons?" Bob asked.
"And the neoliberals. They're on the same team now."
"Oh. You mean the establishment!"
"Exactly."

Neoliberalism

A theory that the best way to advance society is through privatisation ,free market enterprise and tax breaks. A debateable belief in theory, however in practice, just like communism was used by the USSR it has become a state religion that is used to justify a corrupt corporate welfare state and a mass transfer of public money to private hands.
'Reagan pretended to subscribe to neoliberalism, a doctrine that taxing the rich less would have beneficial effects for the whole of society. Of course he didn't actually believe that but it sure worked in favour of the ruling classes.

The Republican infrastructure plan, called "public/private partnerships" is a perfect example of neoliberalism in which companies are given tax credits and subsidies to build things such as roads which they will then own and be able to charge fees for.
