netscapism n (net + escapism) - an inclination to retreat from unpleasant realities into the electronic network, or virtual world.
In the past, the wild nature and remote countries were the favorite refuge for escapists. Now netscapism, especially among adolescents, has grown into a serious social problem.

Browser made by AOL-time warner based on Mozilla web browser.
Note, it wasn't always based on Mozilla - but now Mozilla open-source feeds netscape along with a number of browsers including AOL and Mozilla's own Firebird.

Coolest browser ever, very stable, and doesn't install porn dialers, or toolbars, it always asks you first, and doesn't give itself away to Pop Up ads, which MicroSuck Intergay Expoorer 6.0 does.
Netscape is better because it has a download manager, more stable, and I don't get viruses from it, unlike that stupid microsuck browser, what was it again?
