The feeling of glee you get you get when you scream at a person for not wearing a mask, especially in situations where people are alone, minding their own business.

I saw a guy at the park walking alone, not wearing a mask. I got to scream “wear your mask”. I immediately maskterbaited.

The act of using subtle cues to encourage a series of new subscribers & starting a hype train on Twitch. Or setting up a joke that multiple people fall for.

"Thanks for the LAST sub of the stream before we end today." Then several people subscribe & gift subs to keep the streamer going. "Got ya losers, I was just masjebaiting."
