Hallway Chirp

A Hallway Chirp is a phenomenon that occurs in the dwellings of African-American people. It's a series of beeping sounds in an interval of several seconds that the said African-American occupants seems to get used to or not to hear at all.

*beep*

Mike: Was that the smoke alarm? Dude you gotta change the battery.

Jayden: that noise wasn't the smoke alarm, that was the Hallway.

*Beep*

Jaiden: It always makes that sound. It's a Hallway Chirp.

Halloweenicana

A general term referring to the awareness of fall being in the air; also, an unspeakable association alluding to the fall / autumn season.

Similar to Americana in the way that one cherishes all things Halloween and of autumn. For example, seeing Halloween decorations in Dollar Stores and Wal-Mart in September, noticing the changing of leaves color, watching scary movies, going to Halloween parties, et cetera.

Unfortunately, Halloween(icana) is usually quickly overshadowed by the concentration of the unbelievably marketable and commercial Christmas.

Joe: Mark, summer isnt over yet...its only August 29th, why do you have Halloween decorations on your house already?

Mark: Fuck you man, Ive got a serious case of Halloweenicana!

A female who starts decorating for Halloween in August. Who hosts Halloween festivities for family and friends every day in the month of October. Who's house smells of pumpkin candles all year around. Who lavishly decorates the inside of her home that even Disneyland would envy. Who dresses in one or two Halloween costumes no less than 4 times during the holiday. SomeSomeone who attends every local haunted hayride, haunted maze, haunted house within in a 50 mile radius of her home. Not only does she give out 20lbs, minimum, of candy every Halloween, she sets up a free coffee bar for parents of trick or treaters.
