A korean word literally meaning "exceptional" or "superior", in contrast to the hasu "mediocre" and chobo "beginner". Most often used in the games Starcraft and Warcraft to define players such as SlayerS_'BoxeR', PussInBoots, Seijooro, BMI.PhilMiraldo, NhomerS, APM70, SweetSaint, and SK.Insomnia.

He is a gosu Human player, able to micro-manage his footmen and riflemen with a rapid speed.

Night Elf is a versatile race, whose fragility is only handled well within the hands of a gosu player who can avoid the onslaught of piercing and siege on the race's characteristic unarmored units.

Came from the Mandarin (Chinese) term "gao shou", which literally means "high hand". A gao shou is someone with a large amount of skill.
