Gear Adquisition Syndrome.
A word made by musicians (Mostly guitar players , bassists and drummers) describing the need to buy new
gear to improve (More like wasting money) their sound or
tone, these items can be instruments themselves, pedals, racks, new cymbals, amps ,etc. This syndrome is considered an addiction and it is harmful for the person and their enviroment, often leaving said subjects living in extreme poverty.
